What makes me good at my job is how much I care about my clients. I have a deep respect for how large and important a moment it is in your life when you buy or sell a home. Everyone's journey is different, and I'm honoured when you put your trust in me to assist you through the process.
I grew up all over the West Kootenays. My parents were both in education, and we moved around quite a bit. I have friends, connections, and roots in each community and I understand the uniqueness of each local market.
I spent almost a decade working around Canada as a travelling salesman. I loved the adventure of it, and getting to know new communities and people in places I never would have gone otherwise. I was also good at it. I learned a lot about myself, about people, about sales and communication, and about how to hustle and get things done.
I moved back to Nelson in 2020 during the pandemic to be closer to my family. I was considering going back to college when my girlfriend and I unexpectedly got pregnant. Although I wasn't planning to get into another sales career, having a baby on the way really made me think about what I want my life to look like. Real estate was always an option for me, and I decided to take it.
What I love about being a Realtor is that it is a position of service, not sales. My job is never to 'convince' you to do anything. My job is to provide expert advice, help you find a home that you like, and learn everything we can about it so you can make the best possible decision. If you decide that it is the right property for you, I make sure you get a fair deal, and don't lose out to other interested buyers. It's competitive out there.
